We visited last week whilst on holiday. What an absolute gem of a place, wonderful play space for children under 5 and amazing food including great gluten free. Highly recommend

Me and my partner tried the Palm House today for the first time, as it’s pancake day today we both had the Hazelnut Happiness American Pancakes. AMAZING! Honestly the best pancakes we have ever had, they’re made from scratch in front of you and are so fresh and fluffy. They are incredibly generous with their toppings and the drizzled chocolate was delicious. We sat outside which was lovely on a sunny day as their garden overlooks the swannery. Lovely friendly staff and gorgeous food. They also have both a gluten free and vegan pancake menu, so cater for everyone. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Lovely team who led us to an outside seating area. Vegetarian, gluten free and standard menus given out. So much choice from savoury to sweet. The waffles and crepes were excellent as was the sandwiches etc. Afterwards, we went for a walk around the lakes and RSPB centre.
Would rather not review this place so highly as it’s a peaceful hidden gem for food & drinks in the heart of Weymouth! But it’s ace, friendly staff, clean and tidy, outside seating or cozy indoor sofas, spotless toilets with potty’s for little ones. Varied menu of food & drinks, 3 adults & 2 kids, we had 2 cream teas, a stack of pancakes with bacon & syrup, crepes with lashings of cream & chocolate & a bacon, Brie & cranberry panini, with a bottle of beer, ice tea with all the trimmings. Would recommend and will return, wish you all the best.
What a lovely hidden gem ! We stumbled across the Palm House on a walk and it was lovely ! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The shop inside was also really nice, the dogs loved it. Would recommend to all !!
Perfect place to take your toddlers, The staff are very accommodating and polite. Comfy seating and a closed off play area so you can let your toddlers explore and enjoy a coffee or meal in peace. The owner makes great effort in making special themed weeks for dates like Halloween and Christmas, dressing up the place to be more fun and even allowing the children to meet Peppa pig and sometimes even real reptiles in the summer. There is toilets, baby changing, heating and fans for all weather, a rentable area for events and a fenced off outside picnic/play area. Number one homely café in Weymouth for your toddlers and to relax and enjoy a nice spot of lunch.
